Brian is a co-founding partner at PMG, where he’s known for his big, blue-sky thinking and ability to upend conventional strategy. Brian’s focus at PMG is company growth and providing strategic input on accounts gleaned from his eleven years heading up Equipment Marketing at AT&T Wireless –where he pioneered marketing programs with leading global handset manufacturers and brands like MTV, Disney and the NFL. Prior to AT&T, Brian honed his marketing skills at Dow Chemical, Ogilvy & Mather and PGC.

In 2003, Brian saw an opportunity to leverage his marketing and wireless skills to build a dynamic, technology marketing agency at the nexus of divergent business needs and an emerging marketplace. Thus, PMG was created with partner, Kim Strappazon-Charlton.

HTC

HTC Vivid™ Product Launch Support

HTC was launching their latest superphone, the HTC Vivid™ at AT&T, in the midst of a new iPhone launch and the rapidly approaching holiday season. It was critical for HTC to create an awareness and sales support plan to ensure the HTC Vivid™ would be top of mind and the recommended smartphone at retail.

Without a supporting ATL campaign PMG created a theme line that would resonate, excite and inspire AT&T executives, the sales associates and their customers. “Your Life, Brought to Life at the Speed of LTE” was born. The line was reinforced with visuals showing imagery inside the HTC Vivid™ screen as vibrant and amazing. PMG created VIP Kits for AT&T executives, a training roadshow for sales associates showcasing the smartphone’s camera with an interactive breakout session and a video for HTC’s UI, HTC Sense. PMG also created POS for consumer messaging and engagement.

Due to its success, the training roadshow was expanded from one test market to six top markets. The sales associates were inspired by the trainings and helped push through sales helping HTC Vivid™ sales stay above projections.
