Emily comes to PMG from Michigan where she obtained her BFA in graphic design from Western Michigan University. Being a dreamer and never afraid of a challenge, Emily left the Midwest for the west coast and has made it her home. Maybe it’s the Pinot Noir, great restaurants or the snowboarding on Mt. Hood but she loves the Pacific Northwest and explores it every chance she gets.

Since moving to Portland in 2003 Emily has designed for clients such as Nike Golf, Starbucks, Intel, Volt and Dell. Her knowledge of brand and design makes her a strong fit for the PMG team. When Emily is not designing, you can find her traveling, singing, waterskiing, cooking and gardening. But mostly you’ll find her spending time with her husband Billy and their Akita, Bella.

What would surprise people to know about you? I used to be a competitive water skier in college.

Where have you traveled? England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, & South Korea.

What’s your favorite place to eat? That’s tough, there are so many amazing places in Portland. My top five are: Pok Pok, A Pizza Scholls, New Souel Garden, Yokos, Country Cat

Do you have a pet? A huge, beautiful, fluffy Akita named Bella

What’s your favorite movie? Amelie

Sundays are for: Gardening and cooking a big fancy dinner

What would you do if you won the lottery? Travel the world with my husband, drink wine, and discover new foods

Worst job: Bug inspector for a large seed corn company

Dream job: Winemaker or a musical theatre actress
