Emilie’s knack for design comes naturally. Her parents are both creative and encouraged Emilie's budding talents. She knew it was time to go to art school when she realized she was putting off her "boring" homework to focus on creative projects. Her love of typography and photography led her to Western Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Her love of color would be apparent to anyone who has seen her extensive nail polish collection. She gave up the cold mid-west winters to live in the temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest. She is already acting like a native to the Pacific Northwest with her obsessive recycling and mountain climbing aspirations. She climbed Mt. Adams recently and is looking to conquer Mt. Hood next. Chicago's loss was definitely PMG's gain!

What would surprise people to know about you? I have an excellent memory for random dates and birthdays.

Where have you traveled? Edinburgh Scotland and Cardiff Wales. Next up: Spain, Italy and Greece.

What’s your favorite place to eat? Yoko’s (sushi) in Portland

Do you have a pet? Crazy cat named Ru. He’s your typical, precocious 2 yr old.

Coke or Pepsi? The bigger question is Pop or Soda.
